CONFERENCE UPDATES

Registration is still open!

The conference is nearly here and many of us are excited to finally meet up again in person! If you were on the fence about coming or haven’t signed up yet, it is not too late. Registration closes March 28th. The Conference is being held at the Courtyard Washington Downtown/Convention Center, 901 L Street NW, Washington, DC 20001 on March 30-April 1, 2022. Online-only access will provide live access to the opening and closing keynote sessions ( Dr. Thea James, Kris Brown, and Torine Creppy) and on-demand access to recordings of oral presentations and posters in real-time during the conference - and for 30 days afterward.

Despite the changes to masking requirements in DC, SAVIR is still requiring all attendees & speakers to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19. In addition, masks will be required for all activities at the conference.  Proof of vaccination can be showing the official CDC vaccination card (photo or hard copy) or using an electronic vaccination card through the CLEAR app.

Coming to the conference? Make sure to check out the following.

  • Updated Code of Conduct and Conference Presenter Guidelines to Address Health Inequity and Racism (look at the tabs at the bottom of the conference page)
